Preparation
Prepare all ingredients for sausage in curry sauce. Prepare the barbecue with a direct and indirect zone with a temperature of 100 gr. C. Let the Dutch oven heat up on the barbecue immediately.
When the barbecue with the Dutch oven is at the right temperature, pour the sunflower oil into the Dutch oven. Heat the onion powder, garlic powder, curry powder and chili powder in it while stirring until they start to smell.
Add the tomato puree and fry it briefly to deacidify the tomato paste. Stir well and add the brown caster sugar.
Deglaze it by adding the red wine vinegar, aceto balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce to the curry paste. Stir well until the liquids are absorbed by the curry paste. Then pour in the honey. When all this is one whole, the curry can be added. Bring the curry sauce to the boil while stirring.
Move the Dutch oven with the curry sauce to the indirect zone. Grill the curry sausages over the direct zone. Grill these until they are evenly brown and have a nice grill line.
Remove the curry sausages from the barbecue and cut them into slices. Spoon the sliced curry sausages in the Dutch oven with the curry sauce so that everything is well distributed. Let the sausage in curry sauce heat for a while.
Remove the Dutch oven with the sausage in curry sauce from the barbecue and sprinkle some curry powder over the dish if necessary. This sausage in curry sauce tastes great with Bread rolls or fresh fries.
